Built around materials we make ourselves
A compliant fire door is 40–50% core and seals by value. Wedge manufactures StarPan, FP1000 and FP1150 calcium silicate boards, WEMAG-C magnesium oxide board, HDRW 850 high-density rockwool and INTUF / INTUR graphite intumescent seals. Every Wedge door carries those materials, a batch record and a material test certificate.
NBCS 2026: what changed for doors
The National Building Code of India, SP 7:2026, notified on 30-04-2026, requires certified doorsets from one accountable manufacturer, a 30-minute insulation floor on fire doors and intumescent seals on exit doors. Uncertified fabricated doors no longer pass a fire NOC. Wedge supplies doors and door schedules that follow the code, with the supporting certificates.

Does Wedge manufacture the doors or trade them?
Wedge Industries Limited manufactures the fire-resistant cores, boards and seals. Doorsets are produced to Wedge drawings at Wedge-controlled partner factories in NCR, with Wedge QA sign-off on every batch, while the Wedge door plant at Hardoi (UP) is being set up.
What is the minimum order?
Project orders start at 10 doors. Sample doors are available for approved-make evaluation.
What is the lead time?
Standard steel and WPC doors: 3–4 weeks from drawing approval. Fire-rated doorsets and automatic doors: 5–8 weeks depending on rating and size.
Do you supply outside India?
Yes. Wedge ships to 45+ countries. Export documentation, certificates of origin and letters of credit are handled by ZJELL Limited.
Can you provide a full door schedule for a project?
Yes. Send the architectural drawings and we return a door schedule with ratings, sizes, hardware and a quotation, usually within five working days.
